Photosynthesis

Photosynthesis matters to me because it helps plants form sunlight into energy which they turn into glucose , a chemical energy, that they feed on which in turn they give off oxygen as waste in which we need to survive.

- In this animation on photosynthesis, it talks about when the chloroplast membrane is struck by a photon of light electrons get "excited" and chlorophyll harvests it and creates cellular energy. It happens again and may receive a second jolt from chlorophyll splitting the water molecules in half.
then each photosynthetic field yields 2 ATP and 1 (NADH + H^+).

Scientific Curiosity

I was curious about tattoos. How they are able to stay on your skin permanently unless you undergo so major surgery to remove it? Tattoos were always interesting to me and so would like i would just use a regular ink from a pen but if you rubbed up against something it would smear and eventually fade off or away. What specials things do they have in tattoo ink that makes it permanent? What is it that tattoo ink has that regular pen ink is lacking? Does the tattoo stay on top of your skin, does it go under skin, or does it just blend in with your skin? What are the risks that you take when you get a tattoo?
